Iftar recipe: Light shrimp and vegetable stew

INGREDIENTS

• 1 tbsp vegetable oil

• 1 bay leaf

• 1 tsp garlic paste

• 1 inexperienced chilli, chopped

• 1 cup shrimps , shelled and deveined

• 1/4 cup mixture of carrots grated ,inexperienced bell pepper

(finely chopped ) and peas

• 5 cups water

• Salt, to style

• Freshly floor black pepper to style

METHOD

• 1. In a skillet over low-medium warmth, warmth the vegetable oil.

• 2. Add the bay leaf, garlic paste, and inexperienced chilli. Cook dinner for about 1 minute till aromatic.

• 3. Add the shrimps and stir effectively to mix.

• 4. Add within the greens and the water.

• 5. Cook dinner till the shrimps and the greens soften about 10 minutes .

• 6. Take away and discard the bay leaf. Season to style with salt and pepper and serve sizzling garnished with recent coriander sprigs .
