Muscat: The Barzman Basketball Championship for Indian colleges, organised by the Ministry of Training, represented by the Omani Faculty Sports activities Affiliation, in cooperation with the Worldwide Meals and Beverage Firm (Bar Zaman model), kicked off on Tuesday night.
Six groups from Indian colleges in Muscat Governorate are participating within the competitors.
The championship will proceed till 21 Could with the participation of 60 college students beneath the age of 17 within the sub-hall of the Sultan Qaboos Advanced in Bausher.
The match began with six matches. Within the first match, Indian Faculty Muscat received over Indian Faculty Al Ghubrah by 16-10. Within the second match, Indian Faculty Darsait received over Indian Faculty Al-Wadi Al-Kabir by 26-17 and within the third match, Indian Faculty Al-Ghubrah received over the Indian Faculty Maabilah by 26-17.
Within the fourth match, Indian Faculty Darsait received over Indian Faculty Bawshar by 38-11 and within the fifth match, Indian Faculty Muscat received over Indian Faculty Maabila by 27-15, and within the sixth match, Indian Faculty Al-Wadi Al-Kabir defeated Indian Faculty Bawshar by 24-13.
Three matches will likely be held on Thursday. Within the first match, Indian Faculty Muscat will conflict with Indian Faculty Al Wadi Al Kabir, within the second match, Indian Faculty Al Ghubra will meet Indian Faculty Darsait and within the third match, the 2 dropping groups will play in opposition to one another for the third and the fourth place.
On Friday night, the 2 successful groups will play the ultimate match to find out the winner.
